The software
ChatShift is a Mac app made by KV CACHE SIA, Latvia. It moves chat history and media from WhatsApp on an Android phone to WhatsApp on an iPhone using the iPhone’s standard backup and restore.
Licence
TODO: licence scope (per Mac / per user / per transfer), number of activations, transferability, and restrictions (no reverse engineering, no redistribution).
An unofficial method
ChatShift is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC, Meta Platforms, Apple Inc. or Google LLC. WhatsApp does not support this transfer method, and its data formats may change at any time. Group chat history is an experimental feature.
Your responsibilities
Keep your Android phone and its backup until you have checked the result on your iPhone. Follow the steps shown in the app, including turning Find My back on afterwards. Use ChatShift only with phones and accounts that belong to you.
Backups and rollback
ChatShift makes a backup of your iPhone and keeps a copy of WhatsApp’s data from before the transfer, so you can roll back. These copies are stored on your Mac and remain your responsibility.
Warranty and liability

Refunds
