Requirements

A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) and macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
Android platform tools (adb), installed once — ChatShift shows you how.
WhatsApp (not WhatsApp Business) on both phones, with the same phone number.
A USB cable for each phone, and free disk space: about the iPhone's used storage plus the Android media.

Install

Open the downloaded .dmg file.
Drag ChatShift into the Applications folder.
Open ChatShift from Applications. It is signed and notarized by Apple; the first time, macOS asks you to confirm that you want to open an app downloaded from the internet.
